Say what you want but their will NEVER be another Whitney. That gifted voice came from 2 sources alone Cissy and GOD. There is not a doubt in my mind that Whitney was in fact the greatest singer to ever exist AND on top of that she was one of histories most beautiful women INSIDE AND OUT. Cissy you did a phenomenal job as a mother dont ever doubt that you just wanted to protect her. I think more than anything Whitney was either her own best friend OR her own worst enemy. But then again aren't we all? 💯

The holy spirit spoke to Sissy after she gave birth to Whitney and told her that her daughter would not be with her long Sissy didn't speak of it until her beautiful daughter pass away. Thank you for uploading! I remember reading the entire book 📖 in an hour! 😂🤣😁 I’ve read this book at least 50 times. In the beginning of the book learning about Cissy’s mom & dad, I was shocked, then to lose her daughter is almost like Job in the Bible. Cissy definitely got through it.💩

Cissy Houston is truly a woman of God and faith. She never once said any words of hatred or shame towards anyone in hers or Whitney's life. As a devoted Whitney Houston fan, I knew most of what she shared with us, however I was so thankful for the childhood stories of her babies, and getting to know who she was as a mom, wife and mother. We all blessed that Cissy Houston gave the world a extraordinary angel who impacted millions of lives through her music. Thank you to your and your family for sharing her with us. It’s unbelievable the amount of comfort, life lessons, advice and strength I have gained from listening to this book. If you read between the lines, ciccy is not just speaking about her daughter, herself and her life. She is discussing the guidance of god and giving you lots of life advice. My favourite line is ‘sometimes in life, you just have to learn how to tell people to kiss your ass and keep on walking’. So true.

This is just simply Beautiful I understand more now Nippy had a lot on her plate to start out so young and Beautiful.Whitney Houston was a angel God gave her a beautiful gift the Voice we all fall short and make mistakes in life who are we to judge one.Cissy knew the truth when Nippy was Born.One moment in time she was with us whatever happen in that bathroom in February 2012 is between Nippy and God go see the movie Whitney and you will really understand more she was human a person like you and I her life became everyone business, I don't judge Bobby Brown but he was not what she needed but she fell in love with him and wanted it to work but we can't change anyone only our selves.Bobbie k didn't even get to live and enjoy her life but I know in my heart that Nippy loved her daughter and her mother more then life it's self.But God has a better plan time was up God took his daughter home, change had to come out of all she been through Whitney Houston loved her Lord and that was the last song Nippy sung yes Jesus love's me she was a gift a Beautiful gift and I thank God and Cissy for the Beautiful voice and her life of 48 years of life.

The end of this book really astounded me. Cissy said she wondered if Whitney loved her. I pray that she was finally able to make peace with how she felt. I don't doubt for one minute that not only did Whitney love her mother, but respected & admired her as well. Cissy was one who you had to accept for who she was or not @ all. In spite of her assertiveness, I feel she adored Whitney & sacrificed a lot for not only her, but all of her children. #RIL Mrs. Houston. 2/26/25

Wow this book really gave me a different deeper look at things.. Such a touching and inspiring book but a Great loss....She definitely went before her time. Couldn’t nobody save Whitney but Whitney, she had to have had the right mind made up that she wanted help and the right help to get off drugs and she didn’t but yet she remains the greatest voice of all time but Lord this is one of the saddest stories
