I test out a set of new R-Compound Potenzas on the Quadrifoglio. Driving and review. Are drag radials good enough for daily driving?

I appreciate you including heavy rain in this video. Seriously.

Great Review Brother! Same thing with my Advan AD08r tires... also R-compound and felt real floaty also the softness of the tire really started disappearing after about a year of use, after that they would only break loose.

My corsa lasted 5500 miles. You could not drive in the rain but when they were warm on a sunny day they were glued to the pavement. This is a good review of the potenza tires...I don't think I will switch to them from what you're saying.

Personal preference is I won't run anything other than Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I've experienced that floatiness with other tires and I just don't get that ever with Michelins. Sure they're pricey, but I haven't found a tire that's got better grip or that's more precise in the handling department.

Those tires might be too wide for the rear rims. They tend to diaphragm; that's what that shimmy is.

Love the QV, tires don’t seem too bad. Have you tried the Michelin pilot sport 4 S or super sport ?

Having two different sets of tires with new on the rear and warn out on the front is going to be sketchy.

You used 305’s on a 285 rim. You think they’d preform better on a bigger rim? I was also thinking of getting bigger rear rims. Help put the power down a little better. Don’t know how it would effect the handling of the QV tho..

So, i drive a corolla, tons of highway miles, and also live in San Antonio. Are these good for a daily commuter vehicle? The vehicle is stock.

so many idiots on youtube with no clue about their self inflicted handling issues lol then blame tyres. If you want grip in a powerful rwd you gotta fix your rim size, diameter and offset. Ever wonder why worked supras never hooked up until someone used their brain and fixed their wheels and tyres? Wide tyres on rear are horrible in turns. Do your homework and you will smile all day long with high quality tyres.
