The only thing I’m concerned about for this game is the idea that they’ll never be physical cards. Cards with such amazing art don’t deserve to be just stuck in an app.

Imagine if they gave them duo-type weaknesses.

They could do something similar to Yu-Gi-Oh where they limit how many copies you can use of a card and with decks possibly being smaller in size with only 20 cards per deck, I think it balances things out a little bit.

Everyone wants a simple non ex regular card format and they are bringing them back… Pokémon never listens

I'm excited for this game, and will be eagerly refreshing YouTube for new content and strategies about how to get the best F2P/ premium pass only account, and which decks are the best to fight against story mode NPCs. That is, if we get some sort of story mode or progression in this game.

They had to include ex, sadly, because those cards were created only to make the game more expensive to begin with.

Mewtwo is looking a bit crazy so far, yeah. My guess is that only one ex Pokemon is allowed per deck (maybe 2), but still.

Not going to lie they should just scrap the whole evolution requirement in the card game. To much set to be 1 shot by a squawkabilly.

I get what you are saying but consider that the fact that these aren't real cards makes it so that if anything is broken they can send quick patches out to nerf cards since Pocket won't be beholden to being 1 to 1 with physical cards like Live is
