April tour of this Somerset Flower Farm

It's wet here in Somerset but the garden is beginning to flower. Join me for a walk around the flower fields to see what's flowering now, what's coming, how the ants are keeping the ground aerated for me despite the gutters full of rain. That's a conundrum, having to chose which arrangement I like best. I am like you, I have to go with the colourful one. I could look at those flowers for hours.

Personally love bright colours...White was very fashionable and think it went through a snobby period ! Has its place and obviously all flowers are beautiful but zingy flowers lift your mood...😊

The white bouquet is refined spring glamour and absolutely gorgeous. The colorful spring bouquet seems to give the okay to have a party because spring is here! I love both.

Both arrangements are delightful, but my favorite is the lovely collection of the jewel tone flowers and greenery. It’s very joyful to me.

The more colourful bouquet is more to my taste. Though, you have inspired me to embrace the pinkier side of life with your arrangements last year. I spent the summer making bouquets for friends and finally, in late summer, for myself. You inspired me to look at flower arranging differently, and I've now sown a bunch of different flowers to have more variety, in blooms and colour, in the garden. Thank you for what you do. Oh this time of year I am all about the brightness! I suffer during winter with the bleakness, spring always comes *just* in time to save me.

By the end of May the softer palates appeal more. But right now, bring me sunshine, bring me joy!!

What a lovely surprise to wake up to, Georgie farm tour and floristry! I really can't choose a favourite bouquet, I admit to being blown away by simply everything you show us! I just really resonate with your vibrant style of putting things together. I'm taking snips when I walk down my driveway to see if we're still flooded in, love seeing and hearing about people's weather worldwide. Subtropical eastern Australia WET but thankfully only minor flooding for us this time
