How much are the belts and sprocket and how often do you change them?

Where did you get the belt guard? I have been looking for one for my gates pinion combo with no luck.

Do you have the link for that frame? Is it alloy or carbon fiber? Thanks for sharing!

Wouldn't the bike be better with a fixed rear hub since the gearbox has a sort of free hub itself?

I'm new to mtb and want to get a gates carbon drive system on my next bike which is going to be a full suspension carbon fiber frame, what do you call your type of rear triangle so I try to find one that the belt will slip over?

I'm in a difficult position between deciding between a Geometron and a Zerode.. Geometron doesn't offer the G1 with gearbox only the G16 come with gearbox and 150mm travel. Nicolai told me they can custom make a a bike with G1 geometry and gearbox but still will be limited to 150mm travel due to the carbon drive. The thing is they quoted 5000 euros for an aluminium gearbox frame with 150mm travel and gearbox yet the Zerode in carbon with 160mm travel with gearbox was offered to me for £2700 for the frame and gearbox... Now I can't afford 5000 euros vs £2700 for a frame and gearbox which meant my next decision is between the standard G1 with 175mm travel or the Zerode with gearbox and 160mm... Everyone says the gearbox makes a huge difference to suspension but Chris Porter is trying his best to convince me they are no good, always break down with terrible shifting and that his derailleur G1 will perform better than the Zerode in both suspension and geometry. But again everyone says gearbox bikes have huge suspension improvements. Such a hard decision. So the choice is carbon, 160mm travl, PUSH 11-6 and gearbox with associated suspension improvements vs Geometron G1 175mm travel with derailleur and EXT tuned by Mr Porter

can you climb using this belt? how do you switch gears?

I wish the belt could like, unclip and then re-clip back together, so as we don't need a frame that has to be taken apart... that's so unfortunate.
