POV:

There you were. . . standing in what seemed to be a secret but lovely garden, decorated with flowers that appeared to have somewhat of such an alluring and strange, yet familiar attraction. Standing alone in the garden, with the gentle moonlight resting upon your face, lighting up your facial features while leaving a silhouette of your figure on the pavement of the garden. You had discovered this peaceful and charming place while roaming around looking for a place to hide from the group of people chasing and calling out for you. Just as they had passed by and had no longer heard the voices of the people, you found yourself staring at the garden that look as if it had came out of a painting or a fairytale of some sort. In the middle of all the flowers, pavement and decorations was a captivating and excellent looking water fountain that towered over you. It was such a bewitching and enthralling sight, you had never walked in a more calming and elegant place before.

After finding your new place of relaxation, you always noticed that although it was as a secret garden, not known by the others, it was too well kept to be completely out of everyone's reach. You had always go there and find that it was exquisite and fair, as always. Although you wished that you would someday be able to meet the person who had been taking care of everything. To the pavement, to the surrounding plants that would make you feel like you were standing in a sacred place with precious flora. . . to every last detail there could possibly be within the grounds of your sight and beyond. Each time you came there, you felt at peace with yourself and could feel the energy of the place surrounding you.

Strangely though, lately you had the feeling that a pair of eyes had been watching your every move. Or rather, two pairs of eyes. It was strange, but it did not feel as if it was threatening. It was rather welcoming and warm, so you did not pay much thought to it, as to could have been an animal that was watching out of pure curiosity. Then one day, at your usual spot of rest, you find an adorable and angelic fox with fur that looked as beautiful and pure as can be. The fur of the fox was a captivating and deep black, with a strange mark on their head, that was changing colour to colour after another. It was mesmerising. The fox suddenly directed their to you and walked towards somewhere, as if to was leading you somewhere. You followed the fox and it had led you to the water fountain. However, the fountain appeared to have a small box resting on edge. The fox looked at you with expectant eyes and made their way to the box, as if gesturing you to open it. So you did. Inside was the box was flower with a golden glow. It was so beautiful and when you put it in the light of the sun or moon, it would glow even more and give off a light that would could lead you anywhere with comfort.

The times after that, a new animal would do the exact same thing as the first did, all with different types of gifts. Whether it be a flower, a headpiece, decoration or a simple but lovely pin. A fox, a bird, a cat, a bunny, each one after another in various splendidly wonderful colours. It was like living in a dream. A dream you never wanted to wake up from. Then one day, there was something else in the box, a note. It read:

"I hope you like all the gifts so far, I know that you have been feeling as if you were being watched. I truly am sorry if this has made you uncomfortable for you in anyway. However, I had previously been trying to gather enough courage to meet you, and take the chance to talk to you. Please meet me here, at the fountain, where I usually wait for you to receive the gifts."

You felt sense of eagerness wash over you. Although you had not met them yet, you wanted to meet them as soon as possible. The next morning and evening seemed to have passed by slower, with what felt like long hours.
