PACKTALK Bold: Pairing BMW's TFT Tutorial

Seems that a number of us use the Cardo Packtalk with TFT, iPhone, and Garmin. I have the XT. Could you make a video showing all these connected in the best way.

Hey Cardo Team, Packtalk Bold is nice but it does not work with BMW TFT well! When phone is connected to BMW TFT and Packtalk Bold is connected as helmet the phone call quality and music playback drops significantly to the point that it is not usable! The only option is to pair Bold to Phone directly (phone call and music playback quality is good) but it is not possible to control some functions like taking phone calls or control music with TFT/Wonderwheel
It is either BMW fault or you implemented this incorrectly. All software is in the newest versions. Do you have any tips how to fix this?

It feels like I've wasted days trying to fix the issue of skipping/jumping music when connected to the TFT, Cardo, can you recommend an intercom system that actually works because your integration with BMW is woeful at best.

I find that if I pair the packtalk to the bmw TFT then I lose a lot of the packtalk functionality like pause/start playback, next/previous track and siri control to mention a few. The only advantage that pairing packtalk to the TFT provides is ability to see who is calling you, see your music track on the TFT, and the ability to answer calls, forward/previous track using the bmw multi functional wheel. I find that if I pair to both TFT and phone then they fight each other for access and playback is constantly interrupted. I’m thinking of pairing the packtalk only to the phone for these reasons. What’s been everyone else’s experience?

Need to know the correct sequence and steps to connect all these devices to have them work seamlessly and maintain Cardo Voice Command control of Music, Radio, Phone answering and Intercom functionality with Pillion Passenger

Helpful chat with the Cardo Australia man Carl. I paired Cardo with TFT, Then paired with Navigation 6 on the second channel. All looking good. The lady gives great directions from Navigation 6 then my husband rings. I cannot answer with voice, or the ring on the bike, or pressing phone button on Cardo, only by pressing the answer on the Navigation 6. Then it gets real tricky after hanging up from the husband there is no connection to the Navigation 6 OR the TFT. The only way to reconnect is to re-pair the whole shebang. So repeated the process again and got the same thing happening.
Is there VERY explicit step by step instructions on how to link everything together ?

Do you not put the Cardo in to bike pairing mode by holding the phone pair button for 5 seconds and then roll the wheel back once....? Otherwise youre just pairing it as a phone device....

I cannot switch between DMC/Bluetooth modes if i connect my Packtalk Bold to the TFT. It gives me a message that device needs to be in standby.

Hi, connected my pack talk slim with no issues, but when talking on phone people hear every second word only. Had to connect phone to pack talk back to have a clear phone talk.

You need to resolve this issue with BMW it is crap when connected to BMW tft.
You are going to lose customers on this.

Purchased the PackTalk Bold Duo with JBL Speakers, connected to my TFT and Navigator 6 and Phone, Radio and Intercom works ok, but when listening to music it either doesn't work or is very poor quality, the audio drops in and out very frequently, frequent enough that I have given up using it.

3- GSM
4- Packtalk Bold
Yes its possible to do it but just on the paper you cannot use it effective, I will erase the tft connecton then it will be fine.Please solve it

Want "Hey Cardo" "Hey Siri". Use a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver dongle to fool the TFT
Connect it this way:

Phone -> TFT (Mobile Device)
USB Dongle -> TFT (Rider's helmet)
Cardo -> Phone

*Don't pair your cardo with TFT
