For me, if buying isn't owning, piracy isn't stealing - I'm gaining access to a service the company does not provide through legal means. That isn't wrong to me.
If I finish a game and I think its worth the price I would've paid for it and therefore want to support more work like it, I'll buy it. If I think it was really good, I'll buy the DLC too.
But why should I give money up front to support a frequently anti-consumer publisher for a game I don't know if I'll enjoy for a copy of it I won't own anyways?
Many large companies think they can be anti-consumer. It's about time we remind them who owns who.

if you buy a digital product, you DON'T own it. you CAN'T distribute it.

Pirating is always bad. Period. The moment you make any argument for the degradation of intellectual property is the moment a snowball starts rolling downhill in the direction of all art being absolutely worthless. The solution to lack of availability is to lobby as a consumer base for support. As an example, Brazil loves a ton of shit. Brazilians, however, are unfortunately very poor and can't afford awesome shit. If a game developer sold their game for four bucks in Brazil, their sales would literally skyrocket. That's the solution, not piracy.
