Dr. Ramesh Babu Peramsetty, an Indian-origin physician from Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district, was tragically shot and killed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on August 23. A respected medical professional with 38 years of experience, Dr. Peramsetty managed multiple hospitals in the U.S. and was a key figure in the Crimson Care network. The community, especially the Crimson Care team, expressed deep condolences. Dr. Peramsetty, who played a vital role during the Covid-19 pandemic, is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
