Ironic thing is that there was on YouTube (this past fall) a serious documentary that implied that the Civil Rights Movement may not have happened without Bull Connor. One of the older, adult undergrads showed it in class and all the graduate students started laughing our asses off. The undergrads were looking at us all weird, but the Prof who was laughing her ass off too! About 5 mins. later everyone else started to pick up on it...except the student showing the film in the first place!
