1st: What would compel anyone to slide head-first into a downward-facing, very narrow hole deep in the ground into which they can barely fit and with no idea if there was any way out? Just the thought of it fills me with panic.

I will never understand why these geniuses go head first. Your body is designed to move best in the forward direction. If you get in a bad situation feet first, It's easy to maneuver out of.🤦🏼‍♂️

What am I missing? There is nothing to see but rock. For me personally, that does not look like fun, squeezing your body into tight spaces. AND if you get stuck you can't even turn around. The payoff must be the most amazing feeling. WooHoo!!! I just cheated death.
