I have high hopes after what Nolan, the director said: „Nolan is himself a big fan of the games. "It started, for me, with Fallout 3, which devoured about a year of my life, " he said. “"I was an aspiring young writer at that point, and it almost derailed my entire career. It's so ludicrously playable and fun... seriously, the games were just incredible.” He notes that it’s rare to get to create something in a universe he loves, and he was able to do that twice now—first collaborating with his brother Christopher Nolan on Batman and now with Fallout.

That, if nothing else, gives me hope. I agree that as a creator, you really have to set out to create something you personally love and there’s no way to really please the fans (or not all of them). But putting someone who is a fan of the game in charge of adapting it into a TV series is certainly ideal. It’s why I wish Henry Cavill hadn’t just starred in The Witcher, but been its showrunner also since he was such a huge fan of the games and books.”
