You are by far the most down to earth and genuine person on YouTube and I wish you all the success in the world bud! Never change! ✌

Haters gonna hate. Especially when you've done something they're too lazy to do, or when you've had better success than they have. Keep rockin', man!

I don't normally leave comments, but I feel I should say that this is probably my favourite video of your's yet. I think your album is good, but more importantly the idea and philosophy that's behind it (which you explained in this video) is really great IMO. Innovation is key, and if you love what you're doing, then that's all you need. Keep doing you, man.

And I would also love to buy a current live album!! My time, not this video's time. 💗🐧

This is awesome! So excited! I'm glad you're a musician that can take the criticism and explain why instead of calling everyone haters. ❤

I want to fly away
And take you with me
On the Milky Way
And Show you star light
Shine in every shade
From Blue to Scarlet
Please don't be afraid
Just awe and marvel, just awe and marvel...

Hi, Dovy. I am 66. Your music is the most catchy I have heard in 30 years. Thank God you came along! Yours is the music that will be referred to as "The good stuff I grew up with." I love your humor. I can't wait for your next album release.

It's interesting, my father and I had this almost exact conversation when I was listening to Blur, a UK group that I thought was influenced by The Beatles, when my Dad complained it was just noise, not music, I told him people said the exact same thing about The Beatles. He shut up after that. Nice to know that conversation is still going on.

I like your conversations/monologues just as much as your music, which is to say, lots. Cheers 😋, congratulations again 👏, and thanks for the conversation 🤗.

So what have we learned from this video? 1) Dovydas thinks, observes and has a good brain, 2) He's studied not only music (playing and composing) but music in culture and history, 3) he's studied generational musical preferences, 4) He's done extensive test marketing 5) He's analyzed the feedback he's received in person and on YouTube. 6) He has plans, for both his musical and career. He is now focused, disciplined, and following his plans musically in the new album. Dovydas is a good guitar player, an excellent musician, and a gifted arranger and composer. Dovydas is not only a great instrumental musician, but plays live improvised 12 minute tunes regularly for minimal audiences and pay.

I am an old man (~69) and have over 1500 albums and CDs, only about a dozen have singing. I like instrumentals ('ya think?). There are a few classical orchestral albums, but the vast majority are rock, pop, country, western, ble grass, jazz, smooth jazz, easy listening, disco, TV and movie themes, etc., etc.

I understand that instrumentals don't attract a large audience (so did virtuoso guitar musicians and session players like Glen Campbell, Jerry Reed and George Benson), but please keep making them. Jerry Reed always had a couple on each album.

Often I'm playing some music from the last 1/2 of the last century, when someone under 30 asks "what is that cool new tune and who is playing on it?". I tell them and the response is always "great new artist and tune, where can I see them?" I explain that the recording is 30-50 years old and while some artists are still alive, they are no longer performing.
Try to keep that in mind in the future. Some old music is great and lasts for a long time. I LMAO when the "Kill Bill" movies came out and everyone went crazy for the cool new tunes and vibes. And now, old is new: the young "cool kids" are buying up vinyl LPs and cassettes again!

Dovydas, I wish you the best future that you want.

Very clean cover. Put together very well!!!
Cant wait to get a solid copy and jam it on my way to work. I think your on the edge of the new wave. You hit the nail on the head on how music has changed.

This was an amazing lesson, 24:40 to 25:26 being especially memorable and meaningful! Thank you very much!

I listened to a couple of the singles. I like the style and direction. Never compromise your musical values. You are wise to believe in yourself as so many do not.

I totally respect your explanation of how and why you chose to architect your songs and the concept behind the album. It was very interesting to see this more serious side of you and the level of expertise and knowledege of your craft that you used and plan to use in creating future music. Bravo, DovyDas.

Your passion for music is unparalleled. Always innovating looking for new sounds and mixing current ones is what makes you amazing Døvydas. Innovation is usually met initially with fear don’t let it get to you. Keep making amazing music and as always Keep Rockin 🤘

Side note, next album cover the second half of the slav t-pose so you can stack them together to make the whole image 😎

When I came to watch this video I had no idea my comment from a week or so ago would be read on here by you. I still stand by my comment but I really enjoyed listening to you explain your thought process on the new CD! You are a brilliant musician who puts a lot of thought into your music. I admire you and you still have lots of charisma as far as I'm concerned! Your audience will continue to grow.  I have been playing in bands for over 40 years now and I understand why you are doing what you are doing. Best of luck Dovy until I see you again on here!!

The grey hat is more you but the captain hat with the glasses is such a statement.

There's something about a tangible thing in your hand rather than streaming. So awesome you have an actual CD!!! Love your work.
