Heart warming moments:
Dinner on Monday
Going to hospital with one of them, having a laugh in the taxi and with the doctor. Turning something that could be stressful and nerve wracking into something positive.
PB on the erg for the start of the season.
Last dinner with everyone in the dining hall.
Last workout in the gym being a good workout.
Second cycle trip - "I'm a volunteer for the volunteer"
Last walk around campus with all my new memories.
Everyone saying goodbye and goodbye hugs from many.
Seeing the Mum, Xanthe and the dogs.
Finally and possible the top; the card that they all wrote me with all the kind messages in.
I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. This is uploaded the first morning after I left (6th Jan). My thought and emotions about the week have not been translated in to coherent words just yet...perhaps that will take some time and another video.
Thank you to everyone who has made this month of opportunity, growth, perspective and adventure possible.
