How to install Map Zones using TomTom HOME (USA, Canada & Mexico map)

This video describes how to install Map Zones if your device uses TomTom HOME.

We offer Map Zones so that devices with a limited internal memory can still install pieces of maps that would otherwise be too big to install in full.

I have a TomTom Go 500, I have installed maps to the device but I need to download maps to my SD card, would you know how to do it? When I select the maps and click on SD card it would not allow me to instal the maps into my SD card as the instal button is grayed out, would you know how to do this?

15 11 2015 tomtom XL 310 - the latest software claims you just plug the Tomtom into the computer after installing Tomtom home and it sorts its self out,
well I did that and the Tomtom just shows a blue back ground with a picture of a Tomtom on it with a wire going off screen, its been sitting there for 45 min and nothing has changed or happened no update has shown and there is no option to do any thing except turn it off.

I cant find the Tomtom home executable file so I cant even start the Tomtom home software on my computer and my Tomtom is just frozen on that picture.

Any suggestions would be great thanks.
