How to OPEN a STUCK CD or DVD Disc Drive

Hi, this video shows you how to easily remove a stuck CD/DVD from a disc drive. I manually eject the discs on 2 laptops and an external DVD drive.

Legend. I was trying all kinds of things for 30-60 minutes. To be fair I did try that initially but using one of those small phone sim card-opening pins which obviously wasn't big or strong enough.

There was no little hole on my external DVD reader but I was able to put a plastic thing in the slot and widen the opening and then the disc would come out upon Eject
