I've started buying these, and I LOVE the Nickel Titanate Yellow combined with Quin Violet and Cobalt Teal! It's like a set of icy-cold primaries, and they're so bright and vibrant!

I'm very intrigued by all the unique to them pigments. A note about the beautifully even swatches - I've actually found them unexpectedly difficult to paint with because of this if you're used to doing any kind of softening off techniques. The paint will flow all.the.way. to the edge of a wash even if you're very careful to soften it off with ample space. Other brands will eventually stop flowing but the colors I've used so far in this line just going. It requires a lot of adjustment and babysitting as it dries to not end up with hard edges. I am still loving the speciality colors i have, but I'm not sure yet how I feel about the others. Time and practice will tell, but I really want to love them 😁

I'm definitely going to have to try the two unique pigments, PY61 and PY168. According to the artiscreation website, PY61 has a lightfastness rating of II, and PY168 has a lightfastness of I (their scale goes I to IV, I being excellent). I would love to see an opacity test for the yellows at least, because I'm looking for some yellows that are a bit more transparent. Thank you for the video!

So far I have 7 colours and am patiently waiting for you to work your way through the remaining pigments so I can finalize my decisions on the rest I will purchase to complete the palate.
