What happens if you don't see the option to erase all date when you click the second time on the system preferences up top? I don't have that option.

You can do that too on intel macs with T2.

I go to the system settings but I am not seeing “erase all contents and settings” as an option. I’m running macOS Monterey 12.3.1 and no external drives. Am I missing something?

Hello Aaron, Needed your help regarding IPad Pro charging. I daily charge my iPad Pro M1 over the night and go to bed. It charges all night till I woke up in morning . Will it have any impact or damage on the battery as it is overcharging above 100% ? . As it is a expensive device, thought to ask your suggestions on it. Many thanks !

What I really need to know before doing this:

When you log in with your Apple ID after resetting the MacBook. (without any backup) Do you get the same Settings and preferences you set up, the first time you used it?
Because those small settings/details will cost a lot of time for me.

I really hope someone can answer this for me.
