This is great content. Happy to see you are still making tabletop war game videos in 2024! I've only ever played the classic axis and allies from 1984 but just bought this game and played the first time on thanksgiving.

Watching the whole series, but just commenting on that Infantry hits in Verdun. Absolutely fire luck lol.

Weird quirk of 1914 is captured territories need to have 1 infantry remaining, or another unit belonging to that conquering power. Otherwise the territory flips back to its original or aligned owner. Meaning the entire game is kind of going on house rules and a lot different than how it played out.
