F*ck EA App Keep Using Origin (Please use EA App to continue fix)

As you might know EA is a horrible company and they try to force people to use their new EA app as a replacement for Origin even tho it's worse in several impactful things. If you try to launch Origin, you will get a message telling you to install EA app. In this Turorial I will show you how to get rid of it. This is already a third fix of this issue and since EA battled the first two it's save to assume they will try again. If that happens I will put updates in the pinned comment and on my discord.

All the fixes have been done by p0, all credit goest to him.

You can follow the video or the written version bellow. If you run into any issues or have further questions you can ask in the comments or preferably in my discord server linked bellow.

1. Install Origin (installer linked above)
(If you have Origin, skip this, should work with any version)

2. Quit out of Origin completely

3. Download Fix installer linked above

4. Run installer
(Check Pretend EA App is installed box if you use Origin through steam)

You should be able to open and use Origin now

IF EA IS READING I WILL USE EA APP WHEN YOU ADD SIMS 2 . I have a legal copy I paid for and it's not on EA App. Stop removing my ability to play it by banning people of of origin. Upload your whole library before you force people onto a new service.

Worked perfectly for me when all the others on YouTube failed. My hat is off to you and your sources.
I hate it when a company tells me that I have to use a certain item or application when I own the games in question and have since the day they were released. I have been using Origin to run these games from day one and never had any problems with it. I cannot say the same for EA and its junk app.
Having said that I'm sure EA will come up with a workaround for this as well, si it's good to hear that your going to stay on top of it and adjust accordingly. 👍👍👍👍👍

This worked fine at first. But then I tried to login in offline mode after a while and it still tried to launch via the EA app which popped up with the same "credentials not found" message. In any event, I have absolutely no plans to spend another red cent with Electronic Arts. Pure garbage.

it works but every time I close my pc origin uninstalls itself for some reason and the ea app installer keeps giving me errors so i can't even install the ea app even if i wanted to and i can't play plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 and to make things even worse i am egyptian and we are alot worse financialy so everything LITERALLY costs 30 times as much and i just want to play the game that i paid for

After "restart EA background services" bug and not being able to play any of the games I bought for over a year now, this worked and I can now play games again, thank you!!!

TYVM. All they needed to do was fix the crashing and let us disable cloud saves and I wouldn't need to resort to this. It still sucks but is leagies better than the EA crApp.
