Like most Brits I only got to see Socrates play in the 82 and 86 world cups. A hero for many schoolboys my age. Especially that 82 world cup.

I was lucky enough to watch Socrates playing (live) a few times. He was the best player have I have ever seen at Fonto Nova Stadium (Salvador - Ba, Brazil).

Desgraciadamente no recuerdo haberlo visto jugar, vi a Zico poco ya en el mundial del '86 acá en México, pero eh visto videos y Socrates fue en verdad grande.
