There's just vibrations in the saw. That is able to cut cast, but it doesn't affect your skin. It doesn't rotate like a regular saw

I broke my leg one time and when it was time to take it off, i saw the doctor take the saw out, and i was terrified, i wanted to cry. But then he turned it on and showed that it was safe.

Its called an oscillating saw, it doesnt spin, it moves back and forth very fast which does not create a cut in the skin.

Fun fact: before the cast saw, they used circular saws. I know, because I got cut. How would I get cut on this if it doesn’t cut skin?
