McIntosh MR71 FM Receiver Video #4 - Just to be Sure

I complete a visual inspection of the components in the receiver and find a couple that should be replaced. Before proceeding with the replacements, I want to match the two components to the schematic and note their value. The schematic may give me a notion of what these parts do and whether they might be responsible for any of the operational deficiencies that I've found so far. I can also check the parts list for further identification and confirmation of type and value. Look at the parts list, look at the parts, look at the schematic - should be easy.

Jim;  Change out the "bumble bee" capacitors AND the electrolytics!! Now who ever done the OLD work in the power supply SHOULD HAVE DISCONNECTED THE OLD CAN ELECTROLYTIC because if this old electrolytic decides to SHORT OUT  that could cause a lot of other damage !!!!  I would put in ALL NEW ELECTROLYTICS and DISCONNECT THE OLD CAN leads and LEAVE THE CAN IN PLACE ON TOP for ESTHETIC REASONS !!!  THIS WAS AND STILL IS A VERY COLLECTABLE TUNER !!!and VERY VALUABLE Good LUCK and do your BEST ON THIS ONE !!!!

Bumble bee caps - Junk! I'm in complete agreement with "John Bellas' " comments.

Hi all, I must ask.
I am trying to get the bottom off an MR 71 with the panloc bars. Something is impeding it and I don't want to force anything.
There are nylon buttons on the side which I think may be in the way.
Any advice would be welcome. I have removed all screws and it is loose but wont pry up easily.
