Personally, I just embrace the shrinkage. The longer hair gets the more it hangs if we just enjoy our current length with shrinkage I think our hair will be healthier overall.💜

I can’t bother with stretching unless I really want to see a bit of length every now and then. My hair takes long enough each week so I gotta embrace and love the shrinkage for what it is 😂

I agree with you and your recommendations. Hair that shrinks is a sign of HEALTHY hair. It’s where tight curls live! My shrinkage is embraced by having a bad a!& haircut! You can’t tell me nothing! 😂 Thanks for your advice and perspective 🥰

A updo shouldn’t alter your curls that much. If your only using botanical gels and other water soluble products it’s not protecting your hair from hygral fatigue like oil, silicones and creams does(know what shampoos to use to remove properly) It can occur over time. And you don’t use heat that would alter your curls so I’m thinking hygral fatigue
