2 roof awnings collapse from the massive snow and heavy winds in a busy Brooklyn shopping area.
Dec 27nth 2010, one of the biggest blizzards to hit new york city if not the biggest since it was accompanied by heavy winds. Meteorologists have reported around 60MPH winds and 20 inches of snow.

@bellaburner @bellaburner No it wasn't. this video was filmed the daytime after the storm. This was filmed after everything landed and was at it's worse. This is the most busiest section of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn the 86th st mall. very little was plowed and much of brooklyn wasn't plowed at all.
This was the worst storm i can remember.

I still remember this day. I got my first apple macbook the day after christmas... the day of the blizzard.

I remember waking up and half of the trains weren't working...

I think the blizzard of 2005 (yr. ?) was worse. I went to work that day up in E. Chester. It was blizzard in the morning & worse conditions at night going home. No buses were on Pelham Pkwy. that I could see; it me took over 2 hours to walk the 2.5 miles to the subway in over 2 ft. of snow. At times white-out conditions where I couldn't even see street lights or anything else. Felt as though I was going to die out there, in the Bronx, LOL. 4 hours later, I got home.

This is horrible .. I was in my Mercedes-Benz when it came a blizzard and I got stuck for 1 hour and didn't move a inch because the snow ..
