Why do I feel that, recently, if a game starts losing players (money), they begin implementing the changes we always asked for? It just makes it seem like the solution is to stop playing.

These support changes will make it a lot harder steam roll people. It might shake up the "ape everything" meta, maybe slow the game down a bit. or maybe the skill gap is already too large and it will just make the pros and sweats win more.

How this season drop was going for me - a casual player in the OG mode:
- Hyped
- hopped in with good hopes that they fixed everything for casual players like me, giving them trust once more
- 2h in and 99% of my rounds, my teammates died instantly while enemies hit every shot
- no audio on enemies
- lvl 100 players holding hands and magically hitting every shot
- lvl 100 players are as fast as an pathfinder grapple with normal running speed
- master 2- and 3-stacks everywhere
- me hating my life and playing ranked
- got a win
- quit the game
- frustrated and commited genozide in dishonored 2, to cool down
- feeling happy that i quit apex and played another game instead.

The End.


Ranked was mostly nice tho. ...till i got an pred 3-stack in Bronce IV in the champion screen and *only* master 2- and 3-stacks as enemies... atleast a region change helped.

I actually really like the new battle pass system. The only problem is I don't even play the game enough anymore to warrant paying for it. The game just isn't fun enough to complete 2 battle passes every season.

Thank god finally they addressed the mirage heath bar stuff at least for the ult, the power-ups stuff sounds fun as well, time to try apex again but probably will quit again due to the cheaters and crap matchmaking

The only thing i dont like is the banner crafting being univeral as it completely eliminates any need to actually grab banners and the priority of balancing universal to unique heirlooms. It should be at most every other heirloom is universal not try to make it even. The unique heirlooms are better every time

The maggie ball is nerf im not happy about. Personally think it should be able to destroy the gibby bubble, newcastle tac and ult, as well as the new lifeline ult, give some solid use

The banner crafting change was a good one. Made no sense that you must have a support on the team just to do this. Also the added mobile rez beacon is and added bonus.

The support legends really for a massive buff. We’ll see how the ranked meta changes especially with Newcastles shield being impenetrable

So, the summary seems to be:

- A temporary weapon that we get to see for one season.

- Support Characters are going to be absolutely awful to deal with.

- Lifeline rework sounds good?

- Auguments that will only apply to pubs.

- Questionable Battlepass, and the awful split mechanic requiring extra be paid to get a remotely decent skin.

- Another Universal Heirloom I'll never use.

I'll refrain from this season. Ranked is going to be sweats steamrolling lobbies and Hackers.

Having picked up Rust recently to cure my Apex and Sea of Thieves burnout,
hearing the soundtrack kick in at around 14:14 really activated my neurons

lifelines rework is exactly what i wanted. i completely guessed that she would be able to teleport her drone to teammates and end up being a pseudo valk with her passive

As someone who used to main and love Lifeline these changes have me wanting to come back and play the game again. I stopped playing for so long because I felt like the character I enjoyed the most just felt like she was falling off, she didn't feel terrible she just felt like she was lagging behind and the game evolved.
