My lore: In 1989, Ibishu unveiled their new Lumiance concept at the 1989 Tokyo auto show. Since the 1st gen Pessima was still in production, Ibishu announced the lumiance would be released for the 1992 model year. Unfortunately, since the Japanese stock market crash of the late 80’s, they wouldn’t release the lumiance until late 1992 for the 93 model year. Because of this change, Ibishu would rebrand the cover as a compact/midsize and Europe got the 1st gen pessima for another 2 model years. Finally, In 1992, Ibishu started production of the Lumiance. The car would go under three names, Pessima in Europe, Daewon DS6 in South Korea, and the Lumiance in the rest of the world. The Lumiance’s production would go on until 2005 where South Korea got the last model year. The Lumiance would be sold in Japan, Europe and North America until 1999 but, the Lumiance would be rebranded as a full size car in 1993 for Japan, 1995 in North America, and 1997 in Europe. The Lumiance did eventually get a mid-cycle refresh, but the car was eventually deemed outdated and was officially killed off in July of 2005. The Lumiance didn’t have the greatest reputation, but it was always known as ibishu’s attempt at the early 90’s car market.

the Maxima was meant to compete against the Galant in Japan, so the GTz Lumiance is mostly likely a Galant VR-4 competitor.

Fact: Nissan gave Samsung leftover high-performance parts to develop a mid-size and semi-large sedan. Chairman Lee Kun-hee's deep pockets allowed Nissan to develop new vehicles, and Samsung built them to its liking.

The Ibishu Lumiance is actually a fictionalized A32 Nissan Cefiro. Daewon is a parody of Daewoo and the Daewon rebadge is a reference to the Renault Samsung SM5

I got this mod, and the wagon variant looks like the old volvo wagon. This is a nice mod.

My Dad Used to drive a Nissan Maxima. Its was a light tan color and had a Five Speed Manual Transmission. He said that it was very comfortable and was fun to drive.

I normally don't like Urbanmaid's mods, they're all unreasonably bouncy and honestly not too high quality, it doesn't make sense that most cars he makes, including this one, have the same cluster design. This one is only bearable because it's just a pessima

Very cool to see a new vehicle mod by Urbanmaid! I remember trying out their mods related to the LeGran quite some ago. This vehicle looks quite fun! I wonder if they had updated their other mods too 😲
