The Simpsons - Nightmare Cafeteria

Principal Skinner is concerned that the correctional center will become overcrowded. Lunchlady Doris has been restricted to serving "Grade F" meat in the cafeteria due to budget restrictions. Skinner finds a solution to both problems in the form of eating children. The first student to be slain and served is Jimbo Jones, who is followed by Üter. As one by one, their classmates are "taken to" Skinner and Doris' scheme, Bart and Lisa uncover it.

This is pretty believable as an actual nightmare. It seems like nightmares always conspire in the most absurd ways to ensure any easy solution to a problem is made impossible. Such as Marge's strange indifference to the situation. Plus being tricked into thinking you've woken up is so relatable.

I love how Skinner doesn't even reconsider turning Jimbo into food, almost like he had been waiting his entire life for the opportunity.

I see a lot of people commenting that the cannibalism aspect of the episode scared them, but oddly a very scary aspect of this episode for me as a child was Marge's gaslighting at 2:26. When you're a child, you can't really see the humour in that, and I remember legit feeling freaked out that Bart and Lisa's own mom didn't want to help them.
