Saying the coming recession or this dip the last couple days is investor driven is madness. The US printed 13T during the pandemic, increasing money supply by 60%, which of course went directly into asset prices. But yeah, let's pretend this is a great economy for the middle and lower class Jessica bc your team is in office and facing re-election.

The government changed the definition of a recession two years ago. Then they said inflation was transitory for 7 months. Without massive government deficits, the economy has been in recession for 2+yrs. Jessica thinks everything is good and this is investor concerns...laughable.

Problem with the jobs report is that 114, 000 is all part time jobs. We keep losing full time jobs.

As sometime said in the live chat, the definition of unemployment was also changed back in the 80s, so those numbers are also busted. Pretty much none of these numbers have been real for decades
