They are mean so no surprise at this, I had a polleni grouper among other things in my last predator tank. It decided to nip at some seaweed and got ganged up on by a hippo, achilles, purple, and whitetail tang. The hippo scalpel slapped the poor guys eye out but he hung in just fine for 6 years after that.

When I turn the living room light off in the evenings when the blues come on mine tail slaps the glass quite hard. I thought mine was just broken. So it's quite common then. What's up with that
