Do you like collecting and analyzing MX data? Try this for the series. Just the top ten in each class will be good to collect data I think, and use the first round of each series to establish the top ten you will use. Break it down with only 2 categories. 1) starts. Holeshot = 1 points, 2nd, 2 points and so on to 10. 2) How many mistakes the top 10 make in the mains (just data for the mains). 1 point for each mistake. You can assume, if the camera missed some, and they will, that if somebody loses over 2 seconds off camera, he made a mistake, so count that too.) Collect that data for each race, and just put it away until the end of the series. Then do all the math, (add start points and mistake points), for each of the top 10, (still in it), ---and see how close it gets to the actual final series tally. If you are 65% or higher for matches, you just proved to me that because the top 10 have the tracks wired, it pretty much depends on starts and who makes the least mistakes. If one misses a race or more, how to score, (because that is lower points), I guess that rider would have to be excluded from the stats, making your job easier. That would be a pretty fun statistical study.

Missing a few factories? Colt and Forkner are in the same boat, sx injury after sx injury after sx injury. I don't think either of them have had a complete season for over 3 years now.
Nobody new is going to do well.
Maybe you should have waited until you got the other factories info.
Maybe Coty Schock will get that ride. hehe. :)

You're crazy if you dont think The Monster Yamaha team is the most exciting and #1 team going into 2022. They have the baddest bike on the gate. they have the last 2 previous champs on that team. HRC.?? really? how did either of their 450 riders finish the season last year? oh wait, they didn't finish. they crashed out

Tomac will be a force like usual and is my pick for 450 SX Champ.
Ferrandis apparently was not happy at all on the 450 for SX last few years and the team says he will be better then anyone has ever seen him before this season.
Marv I believe will do the best out of the KTM 450s.
I think Mookie and Craig will do well, I wouldnt be surprised to see Mookie finish 2nd behind ET3 for the SX title. Craig will be solid with podiums and top 6 in points.
I would love to see Colt45 do well! He is such a rad dude and his stalking story to get a ride at Star is awesome.
I dont think Chase will win the SX title, I think he will be 4th in points but get a few wins and podiums in SX.
The Chef will be fast this year, hope he is consistently up front all year!
I hope Jordan Smith does well this year, he is such a talented rider, just needs to stay healthy.
Max will have glimmers of greatness, just needs to keep it on the track. TV will be exciting to see get comfy racing SX.
RJ and Jolek will each get podiums, maybe pull off a win each too.
Hunter needs to stay focused and get good starts and he will do fine.
Jett will jet and do Jett things! Haha
