Shouldn't you find y using the projectile motion equation [y = (-gt^2)/2 + v_0*sin(theta)*t + y_0] ?

its weird how do u manage to make acc formula with in horizontal direction..arent the earth orbitting with constant v and a.. supposedly a in horizontal direc shouldnt be written there
