Melody Shanahan nació en Charlotte NC, es una ex alumna de la Northwest School of the Arts, fue miembro de NHJS (National Honor Junior Society) y NHSDA (National Honor Society for Dance Arts), actualmente está estudiando su High Escuela en NCCA.
Su mamá es de México y su papá de Buffalo New York de ascendencia irlandesa, ella es una niña mexicana / irlandesa que se aprovecha de ser multicultural, su misión ha sido romper y preservar las fronteras culturales a través del Arte de la Danza.
