I really hate how the other hashiras treat Giyuu sometimes and I know all of them suffered but I don’t think you have to be rude just because you don’t like someone. Well can’t really blame them still since they only do this because of a misunderstanding. In the end though, it’s all just a misunderstanding because when Giyuu said that he was different from them, while they thought that he was boasting about their different power levels and how he was much stronger than them so it’s like they thought Giyuu thought that he was stronger than them and that they weren’t worthy of talking/hanging out with him just because Guyuu thought that but it’s not what Giyuu actually meant, what they didn’t know is that Giyuu didn’t think he deserved to be a hashira when he was only saved by Sabito and while he fainted after being saved and carried to safety, Sabito died. So he felt as if he actually doesn’t belong there because he survived not because he fought and won against demons but was only saved and his savior died. 🥲

This is to some of yall in the comments:

I know Giyuu's childhood is sad but you really cant blame sanemi

his dad was rude and abusive to the whole family,
and then his dad died.

Then he was basically the father of the household.
And then soon after his mom turned into a demon, killing all the family except him and genya.
then sanemi killed mom demon and genya kept screaming that sanemi was a monster, because genya was too young to understand what was going on. So sanemi left genya and pursued a job as a demon slayer.

Sanemi also made a friend from the demon slayer corps and they were the greatest of friends.
But then his friend was slayed by a lowermoon.

Im just saying, you cant blame any of the hashira for maybe being a little bit harsh on each other sometimes (even giyuu)

Everybody reacts to trauma differently

for tanjiro, its continuing to hide the pain through smiles and kindness
for giyuu it's refusing to be social with others and rejecting his life
for sanemi its pushing away people to seem stronger

just keep this stuff in mind-
