1974 (M) Triumph Spitfire Convertible

With us at RFH Classics we have this 1974 (M) Triumph Spitfire Convertible finished in British Racing Green with Black Trim. Completed just over 2 years ago the car has been the subject of a full body of restoration and is finished to the highest standard. During the complete restoration the chassis was blasted and then powder coated as were all the suspension components providing for long term preservation. The body tub and the bonnet are period correct and benefit from excellent panel gaps with a fantastic finish to the paintwork that has a deep lustrous shine. On the interior the seats have new foams and covers fitted and the carpet set, in black, is as new. During the restoration program a new vinyl hood was installed and is like new.

Under the bonnet the engine benefits from the optional 3rd and 4th gear Overdrive and has had extensive work undertaken so now runs beautifully. A testament to the level of the work undertaken is that under the large clam shell bonnet is equally as nice as the exterior and when lifted, displays the extensive work undertaken to the chassis and suspension. This late MKIV Spitfire can only be described as excellent, if you are looking for a long term classic car with nothing to do except enjoy on sunny days out and take to shows then this one has to be viewed.
