Odium being evil but thinking he’s good is the best type of villain

Did you also notice that Taravangian's chapter symbol looks different now?
Before it was one side looking angry and holding a sword, the other one looking sad and holding a stick. Now both sides look angry and hold swords.

My first thought after finishing these last night was that it was more in a few paragraphs than the entirety we’ve read so far in Wind and Truth

One interesting aspect of the theology here that is different from "Mormon" theology is that Cultivation is not unimpeachably good here. She is just acting in her nature, she cultivates things. If individual people have to suffer as she cultivates an entire planet...that's in line with her nature. It's honestly very similar to Odium's conclusion that the suffering and pain that he causes in the name of accomplishing his goals is justified.

Similarly, anger over injustice is in line with Odium's nature. Odium is not being presented as inherently evil, just imbalanced. Any shard risks their overwhelming them to the point of imbalance and apathy to things not pertinent to their goals.

isn't this also the first time someone actually referred to Thaidakar as Kelsier? maybe I'm wrong, but seeing concrete proof for the first time was crazy to me

I'm actually wondering if T!Odium will kill Cultivation and take her Shard to help balance out how he's dealing with this.

Also I was looking through the death rattles and saw one that might have some meaning now:

“Three of sixteen ruled, but now the Broken One reigns.”

Odium is now the broken One, right? Previously I think people thought it was Adonalsium, but seems like it is Todium based on what he calls himself. Does that mean Honor and Cultivation are going to die and Todium will take over Roshar?

I wonder if the "Divided God" epithitet has a tamgetial relationship with the "Broken One" from the Death Rattle "Three of sixteen once ruled, now the Broken One reigns"

2:55 yeah that was what i was thinking yesterday, if taravangian at the end is not the final villain then who could be, maybe cultivation? i felt like she might have some plans for him or something

I wouldn't be surprised if Autonomy is starting to pull some strings here or at least trying to. The whole spiel by the oathgate spren about being neither Honor nor Odium but being "free" feels like Autonomy's Modus Operandi. Because the Spren never confirmed it was Sja-Anat who did this, Shallan simply assumed it. And there were gaurds poswd to watch for something like this, ut they didn't seem to notice anything. If Sja-Anat popped up they would, but if it was Autonomy in the spiritual realm manipulating investiture they wouldn't be able to tell.

I believe the big baddy is Autonomy. She’s seems to be able enter other’s spheres of power and planets and even create perpendicularity there as well.

What if Odium's whole "only one god" thing is more a call to reform adenolsium with him as it's power holder?

I honestly have no idea what to think after the Odium interlude. Not at all what I was expecting from TOdium.

Oh my god how have none of you picked up on the darkness thing. Let me spell it out then. DEATH RATTLE 1 - "The burdens of nine become mine. Why must I carry the madness of them all? Oh, Almighty, release me." We all thought this was Taln and its not. Its Ishar and its right here. We now know what this means. Ishar is extra bonkers because he is taking on some of the madness of them all, referred to many times as the darkness. This is important. Side but possibly not related note, both Kal and Shallan also refer to their mental issues as the darkness. Plus, the one Unmade that eats the sorrows of others has references with darkness and black, too, I think.
DEATH RATTLE 2 - "The darkness becomes a palace. Let it rule! Let it rule!"
Ishar thinks he is Adonalsium reborn and Honor's champion plus the shit he is doing with the Spren. Also, reread the stuff in ROW referring to him plus his references in Oathbringer when they were trying to make the coalition but didn't know the God-Priest was really just Ishar at the time. Plus some sneaky stuff in how the other Harolds think hes the sane one and how they refer to him. This is nuts and you bet its going to be something big. Kal's task just got crazier.
