Thankyou for this video. I've had to put up with this noisy fan in my campervan (in which I live) for 1 year! Today I finally changed the fan for the exact one you have and so far I can't hear it at all! For anyone else you don't need a 12v source to test polarity on the bequiet, if you look inside the fan where the wires are soldered it has written F (cut and ignore) - and +.

You can recycle those old still functioning fans into a wood gasification stove. Easy to build and is smokeless when operating. Cheers!

Thanks for the link to the fans. I've purchased a couple of them for another project I'm working on.

Well, finally made it back around to the video that got me curious about what you were doing. While I have to be honest, and admit, I may not like the WAY you do some things...I do like a lot of the ideas you've had, for the things you've done, so far. But, then again, that's the nature of the game, some times. Many people probably don't like the way I do some things, either. And, like you said in an earlier video...It's your money, and you're going to do it the way you want. I can respect that...hehehe. Anyway...keep it up, and thanks. I've been considering one of these types of builds (although, I'm steering towards one of the extended MTV's...I like the extra leg room), I like the fresh ideas.

I assume you did this, but the cfm on the new fan is the same or better than the old one, correct? Some of the ultra quiet fans blow less air.

As always, I enjoyed another video.
