8th notes are in a swing feel through the whole song. Lots of techniques and movement applied in the line. A main riff and then a lot of root centered lines. Most of the line riff follows an A Blues Scale. I would say the harmonic background is centered in A Mixolydian with some different approaches into D Major and A Blues:

III C#dim (C# E G) or C (C E G) for this case (flat 7 chord for D)
