Im a little surprised the Donkey scene from Pinocchio was not included. That scene was dark, and terrifying to see as a kid. To think the kids get turned into donkey's then sold off as donkeys. What would their lives be like after that! What would their families think or do!

The scariest scene in Watership Down is not the "Bunny Massacre", but the one scene in the first third of the film where there are dying rabbits and their souls (?) in a burrow that is filled up with ground and stuff... Greetings from Germany.

American Tail, Land Before Time, The Witches, Watership Down, Never Ending Story, The Dark Crystal, The Last Unicorn, Disneys Pinocchio still scare me now. Watching those as a little girl was terrifying!

Where's Coraline in this??? That movie is just so not for kids I watched it when I was like 7 and yet it still creeps me out it's just a kids horror movie in my opinion, that movie is the most terrifying movie ever and in my opinion after watching that I wanna get the DVD and throw it in the bin.

Honestly in my opinion the scene from sleeping beauty where aurora was hypnotized and led to the spinning wheel to prick her finger, oh gosh that gave me SO much nightmares, i mean Malefecent’s eyes showing up in the wall of the chimney, the loud, eerie music, the glimmer of the needle made the perfect concoction for nightmares for me.
