A cutting quality knife. A cooking utensil and wooden spoon a few bowls and silverware. A saucepan and a cookie half size sheet to put your stove on. Cooking spray, cutting board, butane, board. Pepper, soy sauce is a good thing if you eat tofu regularly the low salt kind.

Cooking on your platform was smart but i would have had a back splash to protect the mattress....love your older videos. Blue was the best ❤

Your fine to cook on top of the wood. You should build yourself a new platform/ drawer system, that way you can store items in the drawer, slide it out to get them, leave it out and have a removable piece that spans side to side of the drawer to use as a counter to put the stove on to cook and prep on, it is extended out of the back to the car, you can stand to prepare and cook and then when done, put all back in the drawer and slide it back in. this would also be a sturdier sleeping platform.

Minimum clean up eat out of pan easy peasy!!! And the dollar store has all that stuff you named off that you need.

Factoid: wood combusts at 451°F. If the bottom of your stove stays below that then at least you will not be Subaru flambe. Most you will get is a scorch mark and probably not even that. Your more immediate danger would be if you had plastic from the inside of the hatch directly above the flame - even with some distance. Plastic can melt anywhere from 122°F on up, depending on the type of plastic. You don't want to see poor RU all melty and deformed.

You are just awesome girl! My husband will do nothing to try this lifestyle. So if God wills and I outlive him I am going to give it a try. right now I have a Hyundai Kona. Absolutely love it and think it would work, but Since they brought out an Electric SUV (Ionic) I will keep my eye on them. Best feature is your front AND Rear seats lay back completely. Just found you so will have to find where you started doing this so I can see what brought you to this lifestyle. Much love to a brave lady and a dog.!

Love the video. I was thinking about getting a inverter that would allow me to plug into my car cigarettes lighter. So I can buy a hot plate. But I like the butine cooker you have. I'm loving in my car by choice so this video is perfect. You should get a carbon monoxide detector. It will let you know if you have a leak

You are too funny. I enjoyed your post. If you can pull the plywood a little out of the car to reduce the cooking odors. Make sure you have a counterweight or leg for the extension.
