As a NYer I agree with Paul. NYC is a s-hole. It represents everything that I want the country to NOT be.
Just take a moment to imagine what the Hudson River delta area looked like 500 years ago. It was one of the most pristine and ecologically sensitive places on earth and now look at it. Utterly decimated.
