SpaceX double trouble at the launch site, Artemis 1 final countdown, Starlink and T-Mobile

It has been a hive of activity getting ready for more exciting static fires of Booster 7 and Ship 24 this week. With the ship perhaps failing to pass a test mid week and with the tower arms and scaffolding, a little SpaceX double trouble at the launch site. Starlink version 2 to ride on Falcon 9 perhaps, but also the announcement of global mobile coverage of your mobile phone!? That is a bigger announcement than it might first appear. And pinch yourself because yes, the mission we’ve been waiting for since the end of the space race is coming hopefully in just days now. And loads of other cool stuff as well. We have the International Space Station, SpEED Demon, zipping its way to the ionosphere and some new treats thanks to the James Webb Space Telescope.

Back in the day I played a small part in the Apollo missions, servicing the prelaunch vertical alignment pendulums. I must say I'm looking forward to us getting back to the moon.

Absolutely stoked for the launch of Artemis. . Plus the shots the JWT is delivering are truly mind blowing.
Thank you MH + Team for all the space goodness.

Thanks, Marcus! I don't quite have the time/energy to follow everything as it happens, so these weekly recap videos are perfect.

Saturday’s have become something to really look forward to! Love your detailed take on the week, and enjoyed having a Tuesday video as well! Can’t wait for the moon and mars future missions. Plus Friday night tights, for me, today is the best day of the week! Thankyou Marcus and your team for all your hard work.

I was a teenager in UK when Neil Armstrong took those historic steps decades ago, and a young boy when Sputnik 1 was launched (anniversary coming up soon) so hope to see humans set foot on Mars as well as the moon again. Great updates that I look forward to each week. 👍🏼

Another awesome video! Thanks so much for keeping us up to date! I was alive for the Apollo program and I remember watching Neil Armstrong first steps on the moon. I’m so glad we are going back. I’m also like the excitement that is being generated. This should inspire a huge number of people to look for careers in space technology and research. Thank you for being a part of the that!

I just can’t believe how far that facility has come. It’s crazy what he’s done here. Don’t think I’d ever see a space facility built from the ground up

Hey Marcus! In 1969 I was 12 years old. I remember I was with my mom at a laundry mat. While she was doing that I was standing on the sidewalk staring at a window in the news stand. In front of me is a 15 inch black & White portable TV. I was totally enthralled as I watched Neil Armstrong descend the ladder, step on the surface, and uttered the emotional words, "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."

Something like that you never forget.

Living on the space coast of Florida I came from upstate NY as a kid watching the Apollo missions with fascination didn't think I would get to see one live.

Great stuff - as always. What exciting times we live in!! I was lucky enough to witness the birth of the manned space program (US and USSR) and watched in awe the exploits of all the Apollo missions. So pleased things are getting started again after soooo long. This channel is my 'go to' Saturday channel for detailed and concise reporting on the progress of the current space programmes. Can't wait for the SLS launch and of course - SpaceX Satrship - the fiery beast!!

Those unscheduled dynamic venting events are awesome I especially enjoy watching them knowing no one was hurt.

I have to smile every time I hear that term "self-propelled modular transporter." After all, "sell-propelled" is just another way of saying... auto-mobile.

Marcus and team, just wanted you to know how much your Saturday videos mean to most of us including me. Thanks for all the work that you put in and for the upbeat narration you always have!

The return of the old style razor my daddy used, and the blades were handy for cutting things too. Of course, he couldn't afford many blades, so he sharpened them in a whisky glass, so many, many times. (Thanks for the memories, Pop)

The structure and crane supporting this rocket are an engineering marvel in itself. Quite amazing what we have achieved as humans.
