Chaplin wrote the melody for the film "Modern Times". The lyrics were added in 1954 by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons. Enjoy!

I'm a regular listener to your piece "Smiles." Although a subtle sadness is woven through, the piece has the opposite effect. It gives me a burst of energy and encouragement.

I don’t think it’s sad at all. Very mellow and relaxing. Like sitting against a tree looking over a calm lake and reminiscing

Great version. Funny how that song is called " Smile", but has so much sadness in it .

Very nice; classy.
Sounds like some interpolations of, 'That Sunday, That Summer', are included; but that's probably just coincidence.

Have done and like it. We have to lift it up to something new and we can do it together: I have translate it to faroish. So you ore I can play it with “local” Big band local. Ok just asking :-)
