The Secret Hidden in Central Park

I took a private Central Park Tour (just me and the guide) and he didn't mention the monuments/bolts until I mentioned them to him. Then he took me to the bolt and said the exact same thing---they don't publicize it, due to fear of vandalism/theft. BTW--Highly recommend the book "The Greatest Grid"

There are several if not many such botls in Central Park, especially on the northern side of the park! I remember seeing them as a child and teen!

Let’s take a moment to remember Seneca Village, the area 50% owned by African-Americans and Irish-Americans until they were kicked out by rich powerful people to create Central Park. Eminent domain.

They are still trying to fix the sewer system at Duane & Church since they were installed whenever. Construction crews work at night mostly (very noisey) musta cost several million $ so far.

Those stones in central park are the remains of mountains that were once as tall as Mount Everest but we're worn down by time and rain, including a two million year period of continuous rain ! See the video from PBS EONS; "that time it rained for two million years".
