Daramad-e Segah on Oud, Persian music on Oud, Persian Oud

Some features of playing the Radif of Persian Traditional music on Oud. You will hear Daramad-e Segah, and some comments about tuning and improvisation. The Radif is one of the repositories of melodies which establish the foundation for improvisation in Persian traditional music. This video has a performance of the melodic section (gushe) followed by commentary. This commentary gives you the foundation of my understanding of Persian traditional music as taught to me by my master's Afshin Keymanesh (Santoor) and Hossein Behroozinia (Oud/Barbat).
