I've actually been tinkering with this deck and the oddest part is that magic number where the payoff feels insane is FAR lower than you'd think.
it's three.
if you Bolt, Recall, and Salve all in one combat it's a MASSIVE tempo swing.
I put it below Parun and Firemind obviously, but easily way better than Supreme and a was more fun and interesting than blink tribal Reborn

If you wanna see an absolute insane version of Niv-Mizzet, check his dnd stat block from Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica. He feels like lore accurate Nicol Bolas.
Pretty sure whoever was in charge of that book's design team was an izzet player because he makes the other guild leaders look like ants.

The Latest Niv is yet a further reminder that Ravnica has been visited too often. More things than the f***ing guild pairs exist. Even on Ravnica. Ravnica Remastered was a perfect opportunity to reprint the Nephilim (and to finally make them officially legendary).

I feel he didn't need to say "exactly" letting 3 color cards count as 1 of 3 options. Would make him flexible enough to nake building around him not a nightmare

Granted eventually we will be getting enough "exactly 2 colors" Nivs that me might become usable just because you're secretly using 5 commanders

There are now 3 categories of Niv Mizzet. One that is feared and monsterously good (Parun and Reborn) a lower tier which is much less terrifying, but you gotta watch your step because they might still kill you outta nowhere (Firemind and Supreme) and then just garbage that honestly makes me think designers made them to fill quota (Dracogenius and Guildpact)

My first ever commander deck was “dragon daddy’s double dong” where I ran every version of Niv that was red blue and a whole lot of doubling spells

I just wanted to say that this script was really well thought out and made. I can tell you put time into this and it shows. Really excellent writing, of course the performance was wonderful as well. The script made her sound like a real person and your voice brought her to life. Great job.
