Pilot here: that's a pretty cool airshow trick, the problem is, at the airspeed he was flying at, he wouldn't have gotten enough torque from the engine to overcome the inherent stability of the F14.

Now yes, the F14 does try to kill you all the time and can hardly be considered "stable" lol but the engine takes seconds to spool up or down, and the turn would not have happened that fast

I try to show my kids that there is physics at work in EVERYTHING. You don’t need to be a professor to appreciate how the universe works, you just need to have a love for knowledge and understanding.
