We Will Never See Another NFL Season Like 2017 Again...

As we approach the 2024 NFL season, I thought it would be fun to look back on my favorite season in NFL history, the 2017 NFL season and I don't think we'll ever see a season like 2017 ever again. We saw the most incredible underdog story we may ever see with Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles taking down Tom Brady in the Super Bowl in one of the most unlikely upsets ever. Anyway, if you enjoyed this video at all then like and comment if you want, and you can even subscribe if you think I've earned it.

Thatsgoodsports could make an NFL season recap on all types of people including Tom Grossi and other NFL highlights if he chooses to. The football analysis provided by urinatingtree could prove to be too much for Benchwarmerbran as well as the rest of Brett Kollman's minions.

I live in Philly. It was my senior year at Central Highschool. Our prinicpal literally said “if we win tomorrow, technically there is school, but you guys dont have to show up.” I watched that game like my homework depended on it (because it did) and when we won, i couldn’t believe it. 18 years old, me and my friends showed up to school at 8am, left to go downtown, and celebrated with MILLIONS of other Philadelphians/South Jersey and practically tore down the city. Jason Kelce later on came to our highschool and played Trumpet along with the Lincoln HS band (New England kids. Our principal bet Lincoln HS we would win, and if we won, their band would come perform for us.) for us at Central. Greatest week of my life. Made me a certified Eagles fan for life.

As an Eagles fan that whole season was just something wild to witness and for it to end with Nick a backup beating the undeniable GOAT plus the Philly Philly. Incredible. Foles earned his retirement I'm glad to hear it'll be as an Eagle. Man won't have to ever buy anything in the city for the rest of his life

Super Bowl 52 was absolutely one of the greatest games ever. Just pure entertainment from start to finish. Crazy to think Belichick's defensive genius somehow failed to work that day. And how will anyone ever fully explain the weird career of Nick Foles, who could be either the greatest or the most mediocre. No disrespect to Nick, of course. He is a true superbowl MVP and played one of the greatest games ever.

2017 had a different energy in Philly. The language fundamentally changed for a while. You hold the door open for someone at Wawa, they don't say thank you, they say go birds. The city bled green, the light poles were greased, and it was electric.

As a Falcons fan, I was sad when the Eagles beat us in the divisional round but ecstatic when they won the Super Bowl. It was like they were avenging us.

This season and the SB 52 was the greatest thing for an Eagles Fan. I still remember I was screaming my ass off when the clock hit 0:00. One of the greatest memories of my life.

Enjoy retirement, Nick Foles. Your legacy as a Philadelphia Eagle is secured.

Super Bowl 52 is still probrably the best Super Bowl imo. Game had everyone on the edge of their seat until the very end!

As an eagles fan, every time I look back on this season I need to pinch myself to make sure I didn’t just hit a line

As an eagles fan (surely there's none commenting here), Superbowl 52 was possibly the magnum opus of NFL lore. Having a guy who literally was planning on retiring and becoming forgotten, go on to be one of the most amazing Cinderella stories in the history of sports, and then having him get a HUGE payday for a team he ended up not playing for, was truly incredible.

Yes let us never forget that in the 2017 season the last 4 quarterbacks standing were Tom Brady, Blake Bortles, Nick Foles, and Case Keenum

Seriously if you told somebody that before the season you would get clowned into Oblivion 😅

As an Eagles fan 2017 was the best year of my life. It’s not often a team wins a Super Bowl with their backup qb that lost the previous Super Bowl he played in.

Crazy to think this superbowl was decided based on which QB was a better receiver lol

Will never forget SB52; I was at the game with my dad. He had waited 51 years to see them win the Super Bowl; I was just 13. He started sobbing when they won; first thing he did was pull out a photo of his youngest brother his brother was a big Eagles fan but passed away young in 1991. My dad before SB52 thought he was going to die never seeing a SB; the sobbing was something I’ll never forget.

I wish you mentioned how that Tyler Boyd catch snapped the Bills playoff drought. I remember watching that play on New Year’s eve and freaking out.
