That's kind of what I would need it for.... as a small, lightweight LCD monitor attached to my mount.

Yes you can get a preview. Just doesn't work with 2.7K

Hi Kyle. After watching your video, I literally just got the Removu R1 in the mail. I have a GoPro Hero 4 Black. I have connected to it via WiFi but it's not showing anything on the LiveView. I tried to do a firmware update but somehow, it's not working. Could you please help me with steps on doing this on a Mac. The instructions on their site is for PC users. Thank you.

I have been having trouble connecting my R1 with my hero 3+, I have had 3 new R1 sent to me and not 1 were able to connect to my gopro. they tell me my gopro is defective but its hard to believe that when I tried connecting it with 2 other gopros. Any helpful hints would be great. I'm waiting for my R1 to be sent back to me. they seem to have no problem connecting it to a gopro. I'm baffled at this point. ? and yes I'm in the gopro app mode on the cameraDave

What is your opinion of the R1 vs the P1? I don't own a LCD backpack, but I may not bother buying one and instead keep a battery bacpac on my Gopro at all time.

Hi there, May I know how do I connect my wifi remote to my go pro hero 3+ silver? I heard that once I connect my go pro to the remote via wifi, I need to key in some password.

Any Idea where to find the password or do I have to create my own password?

And can this remote allow me to scroll back and view the pictures/videos I've taken?

What's the real world distance? Can the gopro be added to a Quadcopter and still stream a recorded feed to the Removu?
