Chinese artist Ai Weiwei unveiled a series of Lego portraits of 43 Mexican students who were allegedly abducted and massacred on their way to stage a protest in 2014. The multicolored, pop-art portraits were made with around one million Lego blocks, and are displayed above a timeline that chronicles the case of the missing students. The Mexican government claims the students were killed by drug-gang hitmen and considers the case closed. International experts have been calling for the authorities to reopen the investigation. The work, entitled "Reestablecer memorias", or "Reestablishing Memories," is part of Ai's new show at the University Museum of Contemporary Art in the Mexican capital.

Another succinct and we'll done video SCMP. the message is simple and clear, it reminds us to have human values and to fight for those values. I was unaware of this issue and will look into it further.
